Everyone has their own rituals that helps them get through the day. Whether it is the first thing they do to get out of bed, psyching themselves up for a new business proposition, or doing some weird things with their hands to make your food taste a little bit better. Whatever it is, it seems to work and they come out of these scenarios better than ever!
However, some rituals are more esoteric and disturbing than others. And it is those types of rituals that is undertaken by the more crazed crowd in a desperate attempt to make a change for the better. The true intentions behind these disturbing rituals still remains unknown to this day, and that is what MADiSON is all about as the player go through a series of traumatizing events while being forced to perform them!
MADiSON is a first-person psychological horror game that puts the player right in the middle of the action through the eyes of Luca. It starts with waking up in a locked dark room with hands covered in blood and a polaroid camera at the player's disposal. Being possessed by the demonic spirit of an evil murderer, the player is forced to go through these horrifying acts to complete a disturbing ritual decades in the making. But the question of wanting to commit to the process or to resist the influence of the spirit is entirely up to the person holding the console!
MADiSON is a horror game that is heavily driven by deep narratives. Using the polaroid camera to instantly develop the photographs on the spot, it is the only tool at the player's disposal to survive this torture and discover the horrid truth of the ritual that was coerced into completing. Learn about the story down to the very minor detail and examine their characteristics down to a tee.
And don’t worry, things only get worse from as the story unravels. The audience will be bombarded by high-quality graphics that look photorealistic and unifies our reality with Luca's and carefully mixed 3D sounds will only feed fear of taking the next physical step forward to progress further into the game when playing with headphones. In addition to this immersive environment, there are also different puzzles that are randomized in separate play-throughs of the game, some of them rarer than others. Players would have to build a strong stomach to go through a second time and discover the new gameplay mechanics on their own!
