This iconic establishment, situated along the storied Denmark Street, boasts 55 Session Rooms and Apartments spread across 16 buildings. Denmark Street, renowned for its musical heritage, has been home to the Sex Pistols, witnessed the recording of the Rolling Stones' debut album, and is even rumored to be the birthplace of David Bowie's legendary persona, Ziggy Stardust.
A Maximalist Approach to Interior Design
Grapes Design, the visionaries behind Chateau Denmark's interiors, boldly mix Gothic and Psychedelic styles for a truly unique experience. The hotel's bar, THIRTEEN, and the basement club, dial8, exemplify this bold and energetic aesthetic. THIRTEEN is a captivating blend of gothic and hedonistic spectacle, with grand details evident in the forms, fabrics, and finishes.
Immersive Experiences in Every Corner
Upon entering THIRTEEN, guests are greeted by the grandeur of the central reception chair, commanding attention at the heart of the space. Intimate, bespoke shell-like booths wrap around the four windows, each adorned with scenes from Damian Frost's largest-scale print, 'Soho Tableaux' – a spectacle in its own right. The brutalist ceiling, molten ceramic bar, and avant-garde lights set the stage for an unforgettable experience best described as good times with bad company.
An Exterior That Tells a Story
The exterior of Chateau Denmark is equally captivating, with its illuminated facade casting a warm glow on the building's architectural details. The ground-floor windows offer a tantalizing glimpse into the hotel's lobby, while the black awning above the entrance adds a touch of sophistication. The hotel's location in the heart of London is emphasized by the presence of the iconic red double-decker buses and taxis on the street outside.
