With the might of the force, Mod Op launched a social media campaign for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment chart-topping LEGO game to date!
The overall campaign strategy for its social media was to heavily focus on engaging facts in a direct manner and conversing with parents and kids, adult fans and core gamers to give them the best and full experience they can obtain.
By following through the key segments, Mod Op’s goals are to amplify fan excitement, revitalize social channels and reward existing fans and this in turn would drive engagement upwards. Henceforth, creating content that was molded to be approachable and entertaining will persuade new and returning fans alike and sharing behind the scenes of the game, titbits of lore and to ultimately celebrate the LEGO Star Wars fandom.
Staying true to its roots, the tone of the content is clever, tongue-in-cheek and enthusiastic that would be appreciated by the fans and to also create excitement. For the whole of the campaign, fan engagement was recorded to be positive with users sharing their excitement for the release through Profile Photo Pack activation, working together to locate favorites from over 350+ photos to choose from!
The result of the campaign not only increased its awareness but it also fostered engagement, saw an immense increase in sales that skyrocketed the brand’s expectations! Such tenacity and thirst to shatter expectations merited a Canopus Medal from the 2022 VEGA Digital Awards under the category of Social Media (Campaign) – Entertainment.
