Marcel Vrieswijk, is one of the founders and Managing Director at PlusOne, an independent production studio hailing from Amsterdam. It’s his aspiration to create memorable work with emotional impact. 1Congratulations! As the winner of the 2018 Muse Creative Awards, what does winning this award mean to you and your team?
We’re happy to be seen by the best and receive their recognition. We’re also about to move to a bigger office which we need to decorate, and the two Platinum Muse awards we won this year will look great there.
2What are your top three (3) favorite things about our industry?
The creativity, the people, and the drinks.
3If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering a career in creative industry, what would it be?
Stay curious, work hard, and be nice to people.
4What resources would you recommend to someone who wants to improve their skills in the advertising industry?
The most important resource is your creativity. Stay curious. Software is just a tool.
5Finally, what is your key to success?
I think the answer to this question is the same as the advice I’d give to anyone else considering a career in the creative industry: Stay curious, work hard and be nice to people.
