Tiago do Vale
Senior Architect, Tiago do Vale is the current Senator and Member of the Assembly of the University at the University of Coimbra. A man of immense talent, he is an editor for the Design Media Publishing’s ‘Urban Complex’ book and its Chinese edition by Liaoning Science and Publishing House “城市综合体”. Apart from having his books published, do Vale has given insightful lectures and signed articles on architecture, urban planning and rehabilitation in several publications! A recurring theme in his lectures and subject of publication is architectural matters. In his spare time, he is a curator for multiple architectural exhibits and adjudicates confounding entries worldwide.
Vasil Velchev
Graduated as a master in electrical engineering, Vasil Velchev, a Media & Product Life Cycle Manager at Ideal Standard National NV has over 10 years’s worth of experience during his time as a graphic designer working for an international company. What initially began as a hobby, Velchev began to believe in more of his ideas after he had worldwide publications under his belt which then propelled him to move beyond! Years ago, he started a project called MAGMA which would house all his collections under one roof and the name was chosen to describe the designer’s feelings about original ideas that forms at the beginning of every project; it has to be in liquid form to be transformed to observe it taking any form it could until it becomes a solid product.
Alice Li
A director of Cultural Strategy and Innovation at sparks & honey (Omnicom Group), a future-focused consultancy that leverages tech-led cultural intelligence to assist organizations in understanding mega and macro global shifts and how to stay ahead of accelerating change. Li is part of a very important change that will solve the modern problems of today. A quantitative futurist with a decade she has consulted with C-suite executives of Fortune 100 businesses to support their decision-making processes. She deems it critical for cultural consultancy and futurists to prepare the design community with diverse cultural resources and the skills needed to identify signals as this would allow the next generation to future-proof their design choices in order to become responsible members of society.
