Sometimes, whenever you ask a person how they’re feeling today, “I’m fine,” sometimes means that they are not. Rather than make their close ones an outlet to let their negative emotions out, they would rather ball up their negativity and ultimately resulting in performing actions involving alcohol, drugs, and other methods that do more harm to themselves.
With help from CharityBids, Amudim continues its prime objective of raising the global awareness for individuals all over the world suffering in their worst moments of their lives. And giving them comfort that no matter what, they will stand for the. And there is no better way to deliver that message than with the soothing voice of Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter, Eli Schwebel and his immaculately crafted musical piece, Stand For you!
Stand For You is a song that is composed with each and every word in the lyrics arranged by Eli to portray the harsh aftermath of different individuals who cope in different ways, will while Eli dances his fingers across the piano keys and vocalizing in an empty concert hall complete with a small quartet. In addition to being backed up by a choir to add even more power behind his voice.
Throughout the first half of the music video, Eli sits in the middle of a concert hall with cold blue lighting shone onto him with the quartet just out of sight and the choir nowhere to be seen. Giving the viewers a sense of hopelessness that is faced by many people that are suffering in silence.
By the time the video reaches its final act, the room suddenly fades to black. Slowly being filled with warm light emanating from candles that surround Eli. The choir then makes their appearance, with each member representing the types of victims of abuse also holding a lit candle in their hands. Also representing the souls that fell victims to coping their losses in the worst of ways.
Nothing good will come out from drinking yourself to death or turning to other illicit substances to take the pain away. If you are ever feeling down on your luck, it never hurts to have a shoulder to cry on and express your misgivings to a kind soul willing to listen.
