Lori Williams is a celebrated jazz singer with a voice smooth as silk with an endless list of credentials to celebrate her gift.
Lori Williams sings a powerful anthem of liberation and welcoming new beginnings in her latest single ‘Too Late (It’s My Time) where she demonstrates her seamless vocal prowess with inspiring lyrics to sing along to.
This single was tied for the number 1 spot on the Smooth Jazz Most Added on Billboard – a very noteworthy accomplishment for a vocalist and it has also been categorized as a ‘much-needed musical expression of spiritual, emotional and mental breakthrough for healing souls’.
Williams has the most impressive credentials as she is also an international performing artist, vocalist, an award-winning music educator, choral director, songwriter, producer, music theatre actress, non-profit business owner (PositiveMusicPM.org) and she’s also a radio announcer/voiceover artist with 30 years of experience under her belt. The Atlantan resident has been aligned with famous artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Dianne Reeves and Anita Baker!
The single was co-written by Williams herself and producer/keyboardist Chris ‘Big Dog’ Davis and was followed by six independent CDs and several EPs that was produced by Williams. Michael J.West, a famed Jazz music critic noted Williams has a soft-edged, creamy voice that is a natural vehicle for introspection but also one that would willingly happily curl up and get lost in. He also stated that she has all five S’s – stunning, supple, subtle, sumptuous and soulful music.
William’s win was not a surprise, 2 Platinum Medals was awarded to her by the 2022 LIT Talent Awards under the category Best Original Song Music Video and Best Audience Impact Music Video.
