Happy People Project's recent campaign to give another voice to Peter Shaffer's "Amadeus" is creativity at its peak!
Mozart has had an interesting musical journey, to say the least. In the play Amadeus, we see the world through his eyes as it cements Mozart's legacy as one of the greatest composers of all time.
For Turkish agency Happy People Project, they decided to create letters and fonts that uniquely matches Mozart's music. Have a look here:
The font was created with Mozart’s music in place, with the Amadeus line in the middle of the four lines as a guide during the design process.
Letters were then placed instead of notes to further exemplify the fonts for the audiences.
A total of 14 different numbers and letters of the alphabet were used to match the notes and octaves, eventually reaching a font family of 574 characters with 32 letters and 9 numbers.
This is a monumental achievement for all the personnel involved in creating this innovative campaign. If this is what campaigns will be in the near future, then I’m all up for it!
