Open to professionals, amateurs, and students, the program recognizes strong photographic work across a wide range of styles and subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New York Photography Awards Categories<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>As one of IAA\u2019s fastest-growing photography programs, the New York Photography Awards now introduces <strong>Fashion Photography<\/strong> as a newly added category, in recognition of photography\u2019s evolving influence in culture and media. Returning categories include <strong>New York Photography<\/strong>, <strong>Architecture<\/strong>, <strong>Black &amp; White<\/strong>, <strong>Commercial<\/strong>, <strong>Editorial<\/strong>, <strong>Fine Art<\/strong>, <strong>Minimalist<\/strong>, <strong>Nature<\/strong>, <strong>People Photography<\/strong>, and <strong>Special Category<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Entry Fees and Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions are open from August 7 to November 26, 2025, with the Early Bird entry period running through September 4. Entry fees remain accessible at <strong>$25 for professionals<\/strong> and <strong>$20 for amateur<\/strong> or student participants, ensuring photographers of all levels can participate with ease and confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All entries will be evaluated through a blind judging process by an international panel of industry professionals. Judging will be based on originality, creative intent, technical quality, relevance to the selected category, and overall visual impact. Works that demonstrate excellence, particularly with strong visual presence and conceptual clarity will be considered for top honors and prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New York Photography Awards Prizes<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The program recognizes exceptional work through multiple winning levels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Photographer of the Year \u2013 Professional:<\/strong> $3,000 of cash prizes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Photographer of the Year \u2013 Amateur\/Student:<\/strong> $2,000 of cash prizes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Category Winners of the Year:<\/strong> $100 of cash prizes each<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gold, Silver, and Honorable Mentions<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Winner
