Anton\u00edn Dudek has always had a passion for photography, but it wasn\u2019t until about ten years ago that he began practicing it seriously. Since then, he has gone through many stages of growth, refining his style and perspective along the way. Today, he finds real joy in photography, aiming to connect every captured moment with an authentic story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q1. Congratulations on winning in the MUSE Photography Awards! Can you share a little about yourself, what inspired you to pursue photography, and how has your journey evolved since your first shot?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve always wanted to pursue photography. I began actively practicing about 10 years ago. Over the years, I\u2019ve gone through several stages of development to get to where I am today. Now, I truly enjoy photography and try to connect each captured moment with a real story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. Can you share the story or inspiration behind your award-winning piece? How does winning this award make you feel about your journey in photography?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This photograph was created for another photography competition. The challenge was to capture the evening or night lights of a city. For me, this photo is more than just a contest entry. When I saw the scene before me, I knew I had to capture it as best I could\u2014to create an image for my portfolio that I\u2019d want to return to and pause over every time I see it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3. How do you decide which photo to submit for a competition?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I chose this photo because it is an image I truly like and one I keep coming back to. Every time I look at it, I pause for a few seconds and reflect on what I see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What first made you pick up a camera?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted to capture the present moment and keep it for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q5. What\u2019s your favorite type of photography, and why do you love it?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love street and documentary photography because it captures moments that will never happen again. It allows me to catch real emotions and the unique atmosphere of each scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
