Q1. Congratulations on winning the MUSE Design Awards! Can you introduce yourself and share about what inspired you to pursue design as a career?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you so much! It\u2019s truly an honor to be recognized by the MUSE Creative Awards. I\u2019m Tuo Zhang, an interaction designer based in the Bay Area. Since entering the field of product design, I\u2019ve been passionate about using design thinking to craft effective, user-centered solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thrive in multidisciplinary teams and have extensive experience guiding products from concept to launch. My work is driven by a deep commitment to creating meaningful and intuitive user experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. What does being recognized in the MUSE Design Awards mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since becoming a father, I\u2019ve naturally become more attuned to areas related to children\u2014especially education. It\u2019s been incredibly fulfilling to channel my skills and knowledge into transforming these ideas into something tangible. Being recognized by the MUSE Creative Awards for this work still feels like a dream come true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winning the award has not only boosted my confidence but also reignited my passion to continue refining this product\u2014from concept to reality. I\u2019m eager for the opportunity to introduce this idea to the public, as I believe it has the potential to truly benefit my target audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3. Can you share the story behind your success? What inspired its creation, and what do you feel it represents in today\u2019s industry?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I mentioned before, creating something that supports children\u2019s education has always been a core goal for our team. Both of these projects are designed to help children by using gamification to naturally deliver tailored content to each user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We firmly believe that great design must be user-centered. It\u2019s not something that simply emerges after working in isolation for a period of time. Instead, the process must be rigorous, thoughtful, and grounded in research. And of course, creativity plays a critical role in bringing it all to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What role does experimentation play in your creative process? Can you share an example?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What set our projects apart was our deep commitment to authenticity and innovation. Rather than chasing trends, we focused on telling stories that genuinely resonated with our audience\u2019s needs and pain points. Every detail\u2014from the visuals to the messaging\u2014was thoughtfully crafted to leave a lasting impression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q5. What’s the most unusual source of inspiration you’ve ever drawn from for a project?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exactly. Since these projects are designed for children, one of the biggest challenges is truly understanding their needs. To gain deep user insight, we explored multiple research methods\u2014ranging from online resources to direct user interviews. We focused on learning what visual patterns, colors, and interactions are most engaging for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also created prototypes and conducted user testing, carefully observing how children interacted with our designs. Based on this feedback, we continually refined and improved the product. It\u2019s an iterative process, and every step brought us closer to creating an experience that truly resonates with our young users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
