Congratulations on winning the MUSE Design Awards! Can you introduce yourself and share about what inspired you to pursue design as a career?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you very much. I\u2019m Omar Almoteq, Co-Founder and Creative Director at OSTUDIO. My journey with design began from a simple curiosity about details\u2014how a single visual element can shift an entire impression. Design has always been a way for me to understand people and translate their ideas into visual experiences that create real impact.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q2. What does being recognized in the MUSE Design Awards mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This recognition represents a pivotal moment not only for me personally, but also for the entire OSTUDIO team. It confirms that the creative work coming from our region is capable of competing globally and leaving an impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q3. How has this achievement impacted your career, team, or agency, and what opportunities has it brought so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The achievement has boosted the confidence of our current clients and opened doors for new strategic partnerships inside and outside Saudi Arabia. It also raised the bar for expectations within the team and reaffirmed the importance of continuous innovation in every project we undertake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q4. What role does experimentation play in your creative process? Can you share an example?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experimentation is at the core of the creative process at OSTUDIO. For example, in the Midnight project, we didn\u2019t start with designing the logo; we began by understanding \u201cnight hunger\u201d as an emotional experience, and we experimented with expressing it visually through lighting, colors, and even the tone of the text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q5. What&#8217;s the most unusual source of inspiration you&#8217;ve ever drawn from for a project?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once, I drew design inspiration from a silent moment of waiting at an abandoned train station. That moment was rich with calm, solitude, and nostalgia, elements that later became the heart of the visual identity for Midnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q6. What\u2019s one thing you wish more people understood about the design process?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Design is not just about \u201caesthetics\u201d; it\u2019s a strategic decision that requires research, understanding, and deep experimentation.
