Q1. Congratulations on your achievements in the French Fashion Awards! Could you share a bit about your awarded design, yourself or your studio?<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Thank you! My awarded design, Poem Space, explores women\u2019s identity and the connection between their body, consciousness, and the natural environment. Through textured materials and dynamic spatial shaping, the work reflects the fluidity and transience between clothing and the body, fostering a deeper emotional and sensory connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m an independent fashion designer specialising in experimental and conceptual design. My studio is dedicated to creating pieces that transcend traditional fashion boundaries, integrating philosophy, sustainability, and artistic expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. What\u2019s the one piece in your portfolio that you feel best represents your ideas, and why?<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Poem Space best represents my ideas as it embodies my exploration of women\u2019s identity, the connection between body and consciousness, and the influence of the natural environment. The use of textured materials reflects nature\u2019s forms\u2014such as the roughness of stone or the wrinkles of bark\u2014while the dynamic spatial shaping challenges conventional boundaries between clothing and the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This interplay of fluidity and transience creates an immersive experience, encouraging deeper self-perception and interaction with the surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3. What inspired you to pursue a career in fashion design, and what motivates your creative journey?<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

My journey into fashion design was driven by a deep curiosity about the relationship between the human body, identity, and space. I see clothing as more than just attire \u2013 it\u2019s a medium for expression, emotion, and interaction. Growing up, I was inspired by nature\u2019s textures and the philosophy of impermanence, both of which continue to shape my work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What motivates me is the ongoing exploration of new narratives in fashion \u2013 breaking gender boundaries, redefining materials, and creating immersive experiences that connect people with themselves and their surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What\u2019s a day in your studio like\u2014chaos, calm, or a bit of both?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bit of both! My studio is a space of constant transformation\u2014some moments are meditative, where I immerse myself in material exploration and conceptual research, while others are filled with dynamic energy, especially during draping, prototyping, and fittings. There\u2019s always an interplay between chaos and calm, much like my design philosophy, where structure and fluidity coexist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q5. If you had to describe your design philosophy in three words, what would they be?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fluid, sensory and transformative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My designs embrace fluidity in form and movement, evoke rich sensory experiences through materiality, and transform how we perceive clothing, space, and identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
