Tsz Ki Connie Lau is a visual designer and content creator based in Hong Kong, with experience working in the UK and across Europe. She helps brands communicate their vision through compelling visual and written content. Most recently, she contributed to the packaging design for Les Lunes \u00e0 Deux Limited, specifically the Chinese New Year Deluxe Gift Box Sleeve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q1. Please give us a brief bio of yourself and your design background.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a visual designer and content creator currently based in Hong Kong, and sometimes (and previously) in the UK and other countries in Europe. I have been helping brands and companies deliver their business strategies by planning and creating both visual and textual content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, I have been handling packaging design projects for the fine pastry brand Les Lunes \u00e0 Deux Limited, which has given me the opportunity to participate with my latest work \u2014 the Chinese New Year Deluxe Gift Box Sleeve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. What made you become\/why did yuo choose to become a designer\/artist?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To put it in short, working as a designer offers me endless opportunities to express my creativity and also make a positive impact. Design is everywhere in our lives, especially as the industry deals with creativity and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3<\/strong>. Tell us more about your business\/company, job profile, and what you do?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les Lunes \u00e0 Deux is a fine pastry brand specializing in festive pastries that embody a sense of luxury and joy in every celebration. As a designer, I create engaging and innovative packaging designs that effectively showcase the brand’s products and appeal to the target audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What does design mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To me, “design” means a lot \u2014 it is a way for each of us to express ourselves and create something larger than who we are; it is about communicating feelings through visual sensations and unique experiences; it is also about problem-solving with strategic planning and analytical thinking to achieve outcomes through complex processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q5. What’s your favorite kind of design and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mine is “Communication Design” in terms of visual design, in the form of packaging \u2014 at the moment, for what I am doing. It’s simply because I love and enjoy what I\u2019m doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
