Jos\u00e9 Miguel Pic\u00f3n Chimelis once again captures a world of wonder in the Global Photography Awards, where nature feels almost untouched. His photograph, titled The Dream Trip, is a place that exists somewhere between reality and a dream is taken in one of Iceland’s most remarkable locations. His visual presents an otherworldly scene somewhat whispers of grandeur and beauty in a landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dream Trip P1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The scenery’s vastness unfolds in a panoramic view. A scene where the sky touches the earth in a perfect mirror image. The sun rests low on the horizon. And casts a warm yet radiant glow across the terrain as it contrast with the cool tones of the shallow waters present. The peaks however, speak of a different representation; its position in the distance rises quietly and displays strength. Standing strong as a witness of timeless flow in the cycles of nature. The location, shaped by time and tide offers a rare and serene moment of stillness. Allowing viewers to be fully immersed in the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reflection on the water is so pristine that it blurs the line between the sky and the ground. It is almost as if the landscape is floating, suspended in its own perfect symmetry. The clarity of the reflection suggests that the water is barely more than a thin sheet over the earth. Possibly caused by the receding tide which would render the water level to fall. This natural mirror transforms the photograph into something surreal, evoking a feeling of weightlessness. As though one could step forward and find themselves walking into the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
