Q1. Please give us a brief bio of yourself and your creative background.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m Candice Wu, a creative technologist and filmmaker with a background in architecture and immersive digital art. My work bridges the technical and conceptual, using real-time rendering tools, AI, and interactive design to explore speculative futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a passion for storytelling, I create immersive experiences that engage with themes of human interaction, augmented realities, and the role of technology in shaping our environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. What made you become\/why did you choose to become a creative?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve always been fascinated by the potential of storytelling to transport people to new worlds and explore complex ideas. My background in architecture gave me a unique perspective on space and environment, and as I transitioned into digital media, I saw an opportunity to merge those concepts with technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ability to use emerging tools like AI and real-time rendering to build speculative narratives felt like the perfect path to channel my interests in both art and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I work as a creative technologist and filmmaker, focusing on creating immersive and speculative narratives through a variety of digital mediums. My work spans everything from interactive installations to experimental films, where I explore new technical possibilities while telling stories about the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What does ‘creativity’ mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To me, creativity is the ability to make connections between seemingly disparate ideas and bring them together in new, unexpected ways. It\u2019s not just about solving problems, but about challenging conventions, exploring possibilities, and pushing the boundaries of what\u2019s possible\u2014whether through storytelling, design, or technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q5. To you, what makes a ‘creative’ idea and \/or design?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A creative idea or design, in my view, is one that resonates with people on both an intellectual and emotional level. It should provoke thought, spark curiosity, and leave a lasting impact. Creativity comes when an idea is not only novel but also feels relevant to its context\u2014whether that\u2019s through the way it tells a story, its use of technology, or its commentary on society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
