His approach integrates rapid prototyping and emerging technologies, reflecting his view that design and technology work symbiotically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Q1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hi there! I\u2019m Junling, a design technologist and researcher based in New York. I&#8217;m passionate about exploring the intersection of design, technology, and user experience. I\u2019m all about fast-paced, hands-on prototyping and experimenting with the latest tech to turn ideas into experiences that connect with people in meaningful ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a background in UX, data-driven design, computer science, and engineering. I love finding ways to bring spatial design and human-computer interaction together. Creating what I like to think of as a new kind of digital media infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My architectural design background from undergraduate studies has deeply influenced my perspective on social structures. I aim to leverage my design and technical skills to positively impact people&#8217;s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Q2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a design researcher for a company, I supported and facilitated research by conducting user studies. And interviews, creating surveys, compiling secondary research, analyzing and organizing user data, and archiving research efforts. I used data-driven insights to develop innovative design solutions, software tool prototypes. And proofs of concept that addressed user needs and integrated design principles and skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m particularly drawn to data visualization and interface design. These fields essentially capture microcosms of human and social activities. Through this type of design, we can help audiences gain deeper insights from complex and abstract information, making it more accessible and understandable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Design encompasses a vast spectrum. Beyond the familiar realms of interface and graphic design, social design and human-centered approaches are equally crucial.
