Yue Liang, Anqi Wang, Ruijing Sun, and Hao Zhou focus not only on the design of living spaces and how people interact with their interiors but also on how individuals engage with the products they use, such as chairs. They believe that chairs play a crucial role in home design and that thoughtful product design can bring more happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q1. Please give us a brief bio of yourself and your design background.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am Lin Longhai, Director-in-Chief and Chief Creative Officer of Sothink, as well as a Board Member of FGDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past 20 years, I have worked across various fields, including brand identity, commercial spaces, and digital imagery. I believe that in the context of new consumer ideologies and multicultural environments, all businesses deserve to be redefined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the perspective of a commercial innovator, I continually empower brands through a series of innovations in values, visual aesthetics, consumer experiences, and communication methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. What made you become\/why did you choose to become a designer\/artist?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It comes from curiosity about new things, desire to explore the unknown, and a passion for creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3.Tell us more about your business\/company, job profile and what you do.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sothink, founded in 2020, is a full-service branding agency specializing in the fashion consumer goods sector. The company’s services span brand identity, commercial spaces, digital short films, fashion events, and art curation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sothink has consistently adhered to the creative concept of “creativity drives business” and continues to provide clients with high-level brand strategy and creative design services, resulting in many influential business cases. Its clients include Jeep (China), Under Armour Outdoor, Xtep, Peacebird, Bolon, and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its work has won numerous international awards and has been featured in several design yearbooks and mainstream magazines, such as the Netherlands’ “FRAME,” GTN9’s “Brand Creative Presentation,” “Packaging Presentation,” and “Asia Pacific Design.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What does ‘design’ mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design is a specific process based on aesthetics to solve specific business problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q5.<\/strong> What’s your favorite kind of design and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I personally like designs that are very restrained, as they can effectively combine form and function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
