Saskia Harmann is a freelance amateur photographer from Germany. She’s known to be a specialist in dog photography and capturing unique moments of it. A self-taught dog photographer, she’s looking to create unique and emotional images for her clients as it gives her great pleasure to make others happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have continued to educate myself privately. At first, I attended workshops with renowned horse photographers and learned a lot about manual settings. A year ago, in 2023, I completed the Dogphotography Masters and am continuing my education in this field. I don’t like to stand still, so I’m always training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh yes! My first real customer shoot. I was allowed to photograph a Bavarian Mountain Hound and its owners. It made me so excited about it as I still love these pictures today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to create unique and emotional images for my clients. I’ve already achieved this goal, but I’m sticking to it because it gives me great pleasure to make others happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As one of my mentors said to me: \u201cYour pictures are too good, I have nothing negative to criticise.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our dogs will always be a part of our lives, for them, we are their whole life. Capture them in pictures that we will have for eternity so that we can always think back to the time we spent together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I simply don’t like standing still. I love being creative. And I always want to know exactly how something works or was made. Then there’s the regular exchange with colleagues and the desire to always be able to capture new unique moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
