This effect is heightened by the starless night sky that looms above the town, a backdrop that resembles the swirling, dreamlike quality of Van Gogh&#8217;s painting. The contrast between the dark sky and the weathered, earth-toned buildings enhances the surreal, timeless atmosphere of the photographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">P2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bodie&#8217;s history is a story of rise and fall, driven by the discovery of gold.
