Bruno De Lazzari is a product designer and entrepreneur from Porto Alegre, Brazil. He studied architecture at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and later founded De Lazzari Mobili. His passion for design was ignited by his family’s legacy in woodworking and his architectural education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q1. Please give us a brief bio of yourself and your background.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m Bruno De Lazzari, a product designer and entrepreneur from Porto Alegre, Brazil. I studied architecture at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and later founded De Lazzari Mobili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. What made you become\/why did you choose to become a product designer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My passion for design was sparked by my family’s legacy in woodworking and my architectural education. This background made product design a natural progression for me, as it allowed me to explore and innovate within the realms of practical and aesthetic creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3. What does \u201cdesign\u201d mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To me, design is the bridge between creativity and functionality. It’s the art piece that solves a practical human need. It’s about crafting solutions that not only serve a purpose but also communicate and resonate on an aesthetic level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What\u2019s your favorite kind of design and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite kind of design are complex, but simple, elegant but impressive!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q5. To you, what makes a \u201cgood\u201d design?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good design solves a problem with an artistic touch and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
