I’m Jessica Kewei Lin, an award-winning UX designer with a commitment to blending problem-solving with design thinking, leveraging my skills to make real impacts through data-driven decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognized by several prestigious awards, my work reflects my dedication to crafting solutions that resonate deeply with users, driving meaningful change in the digital landscape. My mission is to continue exploring, learning, and innovating, always with an eye toward making the digital world a more inclusive and engaging space for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. What made you become\/why did you choose to become a designer\/artist?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I became fascinated by the potential to combine visual beauty with problem-solving capabilities, producing creations that were meant not only for observation but for interaction as well. This realization led me toward UX\/UI design, a field where design thinking and data-driven decisions unite to address complex challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3. Tell us more about your business\/company, job profile, and what you do.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a UX Designer in the gaming industry, my role is to create immersive, engaging, and accessible experiences for players around the world. This involves a deep dive into user research, understanding the diverse needs of gamers, and translating these insights into intuitive design solutions. From conceptualizing wireframes and prototypes to conducting usability testing and iterating based on feedback, my work is about ensuring that every aspect of the game feels seamless and intuitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What does \u201cdesign\u201d mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s about understanding and empathizing with users, identifying their challenges, and crafting solutions that address these issues in innovative and impactful ways. Design is a tool for social change. It means seeing past what’s obvious and thinking about the larger impact of our work, breaking down barriers, and creating more inclusive and accessible spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q5<\/strong>. To you, what makes a ‘good’ design?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A good design is one that considers the user’s needs, preferences, and challenges and offers elegant and effective solutions. It respects the user, enhancing their experience by making complex systems accessible, enjoyable, and engaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
