Q1. Please provide us a brief bio of yourself.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am Sorina Vlasceanu, Co-Founder and VP of Engineering of Veridion Data. As someone deeply immersed in the ever-changing world of technology, I find myself committed to shaping the deeptech landscape. I presently hold a multifaceted role within Veridion, encompassing both the strategic leadership of a VP of Engineering and the vision of a founder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My academic journey started at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, laying a solid foundation for my career. This path has led me through pivotal roles at industry giants like Deutsche Bank and Fitbit, where I’ve had the opportunity to impact millions of users with my work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to work, my approach is strategic and forward-thinking, especially in our mission to revolutionize the way company data is accessed and used. I firmly believe in a data and results oriented mindset, rooted in hard work, consistency and strong ethics. These values are central to my professional philosophy and are what I strive to instill in our team, cultivating a culture of integrity and excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tackling unexpected challenges and solving extremely difficult problems is a part of my job that I find particularly fulfilling. It’s in these moments that I discover opportunities for personal and professional growth, and a chance to inspire those around me to push their limits and explore new possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. What inspired you to pursue innovation in your field?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovation at Veridion is driven by a deep desire to revolutionize the way businesses understand and utilize data. I saw an immense potential in harnessing AI to transform the sourcing of big data into the freshest and most accurate version of itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Veridion is also motivated by the potential of embedding business data into macro processes for actionable insights, especially in sectors like procurement, insurance and market intelligence. Veridion’s goal was always to create solutions that are not just advanced but also practical and user-friendly, filling a gap in the market that we were acutely aware of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3. Please tell us more about your organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Veridion stands at the intersection of technology and business intelligence. We specialize in offering AI-powered firmographic data solutions that elevate B2B research processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Veridion’s focus is on delivering not just data, but insights that drive decision-making for businesses in procurement, insurance, and market intelligence. My company’s commitment to continuous improvement, data accuracy and freshness, as well as a focus on customer satisfaction have positioned us as a leader in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What does \u201cInnovation\u201d mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovation, to me, is about reimagining possibilities. It’s not just about creating something new; it’s about making something better, more efficient, and more impactful. It’s a continuous process of questioning the status quo, exploring new ideas, and applying them to create real-world solutions that drive progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our innovation lies in the development of an AI-fueled firmographic data platform. It stands out for its unparalleled data coverage and accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This platform empowers businesses with deeper insights, aiding in more informed decision-making, especially in procurement and market analysis. Its impact is significant, revolutionizing how companies access and interpret business intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
