Jacquie Joy is a composer and sound designer for film and corporate videos. She has been scoring for 5 years and has written music for Expedia guides and real estate and travel videos. She loves to write music with personality and is versatile in most genres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q1. Please give us a brief bio of yourself and your background.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hi, my name is Jacquie Joy. For the past 5 years, I have been scoring films and corporate videos. Before that, I worked extensively writing music for Expedia guides. I started as a vocalist\/guitarist in the very early days!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2. What made you become\/why did you choose to become a digital designer\/artist?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had the opportunity to be involved with audio and score for real estate and travel videos years ago. I loved working on these projects and just kept going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3. Tell us more about your business\/company, job profile, and what you do.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m a composer\/sound designer for film and corporate video. I cover most genres and pride myself in writing music with personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4. What\u2019s your favorite kind of digital design and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design in the video\/film space. Exciting to be at the end of these projects and have the opportunity to put the final touches on something!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q5. To you, what makes a \u201cgood\u201d design?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When all the elements, including the script acting visuals, are at a high level and then further, come together as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q6. Describe your design style and its main characteristics.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music with a subtle personality that helps engage the viewer and understand the story\/message. Pleasant to the ear as well\/ nice mix etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
