Photomanipulation at its best was fully brought to life by German photographer, Bernd Schirmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Bernd Schirmer, an ambitious photographer from Germany uses photomanipulation to illustrate a bold and distinctive masterpiece that took place underwater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She depicts it as a \u2018Dance of Doom\u2019 to symbolize how the ocean poses to be very unforgiving and is more than capable of taking lives in the most devastating way possible. The enchanting beauty of the sea is its anonymity to its native and to the land that poses a danger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schirmer describes the kiss of death and how one would sink deep into the abyss with a sealed fate that would be a secret that the ocean keeps. Schirmer elaborated further by how the unknown ocean will kiss and provide sensual emotions just before the light disappears from the eyes to never return to the surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beings, sirens that surrounds the protagonist seems to depict the many sensual emotions that Schirmer explained. The protagonist seems to accept her fate with a strained smile on her face and the beings around her seems to be in a joyful and almost playful manner as the protagonist drowning further into the siren\u2019s playground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The masterpiece was awarded with a Platinum Medal for its brilliant execution of photomanipulation and its multilayered depiction of drowning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
