Please give us a brief bio of yourself and your design background.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

HVILINA is a unique brand of wristwatches from Belarus. The brand is based on the idea of a fundamentally new approach to the creation of wristwatches, to design, to their purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HVILINA brand was founded in 2014. Initially, the company specialized in creating individual designs. The year 2020 was a landmark in the company’s history. The company was rebranded and entered the retail market. Today, the main office is based in Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tell us more about your business\/company, job profile, and what you do.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Our company creates limited collections of wristwatches, that lie at the interface between a functional gadget and an aesthetic accessory, at the junction of utility and elegance. In design, we strike a balance between aesthetics, style, and functionality. For us, each collection is a separate project with its philosophy, unique design, and concept, which is the basis of our collections. With our products, we can draw attention to themes or events that excite or impressed us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does \u201cdesign\u201d mean to you?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

For us, design is a self-expression tool to the extent that it doesn\u2019t interfere with the functionality and usability of the object. Design is an opportunity to turn something ordinary into beautiful, while often making it more convenient and reliable. Design for us is an opportunity for dialogue with the audience.  The opportunity to tell people what we care about or inspire and get feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since ancient times, people have looked at the stars, trying to understand how the universe works. For more than 2000 years, humankind has come from the theory of a flat Earth and the geocentric model to the modern understanding of the structure of the Universe, sent a human into space, landed on the Moon, and began\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
