Read all about her passion for design here!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Please give us a brief bio of yourself and your design background.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>My name is Luathsee Xiong, I am 23 years old and I am Hmong American. I graduated from Appalachian State University in North Carolina with my Bachelors of Science in Apparel Design and Merchandising. Along with a minor in Marketing. During my design journey I have had a variety of experiences with modeling and styling. And have won some design challenges through the times.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What made you become\/why did you choose to become a designer\/artist?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I became a fashion designer because as growing up I would always watch my step grandma work on our Traditional Hmong Clothing. We would always sit together and help her count beads to strung onto the clothes. I was always fond of our traditional wear as it carries our rich stories and values throughout our Hmong history. Hmong clothes were what made me fall in love with clothes, which eventually made me want to pursue my career as a fashion designer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tell us more about your business\/company, job profile, and what you do.&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>LLX Creations is a company where in the future&nbsp; I would like to see designs of fresh new looks hitting the runways as always being original and the start of a fashion trend. As of now my company is a start- up and working in progress. I am hoping in the future to launch my own design line and a company of my own.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does \u201cdesign\u201d mean to you?&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Design is a word that means to be different. When designing, I always want to be thinking out of the box, not what is trending or what someone else likes. Design is what you want to showcase into the world to make it the \u201ciconic\u201d look<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s your favorite kind of design and why?&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>My favorite kind of design is making dresses.
