A trip to the store will never be a boring one again with these innovative and cutting-edge retail space designs!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trips to a shopping mall every time we have to buy something from the store is always a new adventure week after week. From new limited-run popups to the closure and grand opening of new stores and restaurants, it is these little things that keep us coming back to the shopping complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MUSE Design Awards is known for being the central hub and permanent homes of carefully thought out and cutting-edge designs put into architecture and interior designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And hopefully in the future, we can start to see the completion of these mega projects and make every trip an adventure to remember. Here are some of designs that we found to be absolutely stunning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASUS Super Lab<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re all too familiar with flagship electronics shops. Selling the latest smartphones, laptops, and other innovative pieces of technology that pave the way to becoming a normal part of our lives. Apple stores have an armada of iPhones, MacBooks and iMacs for you to ogle at the features. With Geniuses patrolling around the store to help you out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taiwan electronics manufacturer Asus takes a look at Apple\u2019s execution and says, \u201cHold my motherboard,\u201d. Before going to inDare Design Strategy Limited to design them a futuristic and minimalist flagship store with super clean aesthetics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the outside, the ASUS Super Lab looks the part of a sleek, minimal, and modern design that takes after many of their products of the same design aesthetic ranging from phones, laptops, and computer parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The real fun begins once you step foot into the futuristic interior of the ASUS Super Lab. The inside of the store is bright, airy and spacious. Thanks to the cool lighting and light colors used with hints of black and dark grey perfectly contrasting the outlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main attraction of the ASUS Super Lab is the \u201cSpace-Time Prism\u201d and semi-loop track display area at the middle of the store. Unlike conventional stores where you walk up to a device that catches you attention. The conveyor belt as seen in an airport rotates and brings the device for your to view instead. inDare Design Strategy Limited did this in accordance to Asus\u2019 vision for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The powerhouse of desktop electronics has pushed the bar towards the next level of retail spaces in the electronics market. And inDare Design Strategy Limited have truly outdone themselves in creating an amazing store design!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chengdu CFC Retail Mall<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Now, how about we scale up a little bit more from a small tech store to a full-fledged shopping mall instead?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the beauty of nature as the main view from the front of the complex and standing at over 11 floors tall. The Chengdu CFC Retail Mall commissioned by the Dajia Insurance Group. A twist of urban, trendy, and chic mixed constructed with a beautiful melody of materials. Manmade and natural encased in a veil of glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from floor B1, the complex is connected by a train station for visitors to climb out onto the sunken plaza. Where they will be greeted by a massive glass structure surrounding them from all angles. From floors L1 and L2 onwards, they can step towards any direction as the open areas are carefully planned out for the most optimal flow of pedestrian activity all the while conforming to the design aesthetic of the complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Floors L3 and L5 onwards houses the majority of the retail outlets and restaurants. Beyond this threshold from here on out, we will start to see one of the more unique design features the further up we go in the shopping mall. With each ascending floor, the shape of the complex starts to take on a donut shape and gradually becoming a semi-circle shape. Floors L6 and L8 onwards start to see each individual shop lot take on their own unique design and layout to give customers a completely unique experience when shopping for goods rather than the same uniform box shape that we are used to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And from L9 and beyond, we come out into the great outdoors free from any retail space and instead populated with recreational spaces fit for all types of function to be organized with the complex\u2019s management. Moving towards to the very front of the mall, you also have a bird\u2019s eye view of the forest as well as the beautiful sunset disappearing from the horizon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A project like this is certainly an ambitious one, and NEWS-D LIMITED understands the design choices that they have made and finalized will pose some architectural challenges. But NEWS-D LIMITED sees this as an opportunity to truly push themselves to the limits, and they will go all out to create a middle-ground and central hub for people from all walks of life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hangzhou Binhe Digital Industrial Park Project<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Moving away from the views of the evergreen glades, we now transition over to the flowing blue waters of the Hangzhou Digital Industrial Park Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed by Aedas as a commission by the Hangzhou Xiaoshan Qianjiang Century City Management Ltd., the complex\u2019s design takes the motifs of water and water droplets and uses that as a primary design basis for the whole project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire site of the project is 12 blocks long and will be situated on the eastern bank of the Qintang River in the Hangzhou province and tight in the middle of Qianjiang Century City, and strategically built adjacent to the Qiantanwan Headquarter campus further up north.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The park is built on both ends of the river and connected by bridges for pedestrians to walk from one bay to the other, where they can overlook the river flowing into the city centre or gaze at the boats just passing through the river and directly underneath the pedestrians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stairwells are also scattered alongside both sides of the lake where visitors can stand by the body of water to board onto their own private boats of simply just need to use it as their own primary mode of transport to get from one end of the park to another quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are extremely high up from the neighboring skyscrapers, your attention will be quickly drawn towards the topography and design layout of the park that is based on the motif of water droplets and the ripples that are caused by the impact of the little drops of water onto a larger body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
