Hugh has been ingenious in his artworks, where he produces a series of photographs that leaves behind that mysterious ambience. London Photographer: Great Prayer | David Marciano (Amateur\/Student)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

David Marciano has brought his fantastic abilities this time to Tibet, in light of the Great Monlam prayers festival. Dating back to as early as 1409, Lama Tsongkapa was the first to initiate the festival. The Monlam celebration is a huge celebration in Tibet, because it is one of the most important religious events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exploring the ways of the people, prayers, ritual dances and grand processions all maintain a huge presence. The day of \u201cUnveiling the Buddha\u201d is deemed the most important, as monks carry on their backs the \u201cTANGKHA\u201d. With the images taken during the festival in Labrang, Tongren, and Langmusi, experience the festival like you were in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
