Snapshots of Valor
With his camera, Stephan Goss has immortalised Ukraine's conflict through his series of photographs titled "Snapshots of Valor: On the Front Lines of Ukraine's Struggle." Goss, an award-winning photographer embedded on the front lines of Ukraine's conflict since April 2022 has captured the unseen aspects of war through his lenses. The courage and resilience of the Ukrainians are masterfully shown in his collection displaying their lives amid the devastation that exist in their daily battles.
In his collection, an elderly lady, cradling her cat, stands near Lyman in the wake of its liberation by Ukrainian forces. While in Bucha, Goss captures a poignant image of a Ukrainian girl dancing in front of a Banksy mural on a charred building.
