Over the course of life, there are tons of shocking or fascinating instances that you will witness. Hugh has been ingenious in his artworks, where he produces a series of photographs that leaves behind that mysterious ambience for the audience. Using only their imagination, viewers are able to gain an immersive experience that brings them back to the old Hollywood.
Leaving behind such questions, the photographs convey a sense of panic, troubled, and bemused, as the puzzles can’t seem to be put together. With these exact intentions, Hugh wants his audience to explode their creativity, embedding the pursuit of answers into their minds. Photography doesn’t only have to follow the textbooks, as it is the stories and fun elements behind that brings a smile to faces.

Great Prayer | David Marciano (Amateur/Student)
David Marciano has brought his fantastic abilities this time to Tibet, in light of the Great Monlam prayers festival. Dating back to as early as 1409, Lama Tsongkapa was the first to initiate the festival. Each year, the Monlam celebration is considered a huge celebration in Tibet, because the Tibetans treat it as one of the most important religious events amongst their tribes.
TExploring the ways of the people, prayers, ritual dances and grand processions all maintain a huge presence. Across the festival, the day of “Unveiling the Buddha” is deemed the most important, as monks and pilgrims carry on their backs the “TANGKHA”, a large painting of Buddha. With the images taken during the festival in Labrang, Tongren, and Langmusi, experience the festival like you were in it together.
